Can not hear xbox live party

Unfortunately, none of these answers fixed this for me. Update though: looks like I can hear everything the other people in my Fortnite party is saying, they just can’t hear me. The weirder thing is, when I squad up with randos, the mic works just fine.
I can hear them and they can hear me. Again, same thing when I’m in an Xbox Live party. The only thing that doesnt work is my mic when I’m in a regular Fortnite party (not in an Xbox Live party).

Hey there, thanks for replying. I'm trying to use the Astro's as a mic on the pc for streaming. But also I'm still trying to be in Xbox live party's and such on the Xbox. But when I try to do that I can hear the music on my computer of course since i have
the base switched to PC but I can hear the people that is in my Xbox Live Party's But they can't hear me. I'm trying to see if there's something I could do to fix that.

Same headset, opposite issue. Everyone in party can hear me, but I can't hear anyone. I can hear myself in Mic monitoring as well. I am very tech savvy and have tried everything I can think of, but have not found resolution. A workaround I have found for
me is to assign my headset to another xbox live account on my xbox (one of my kids') and then invite that user to the party. Then I can hear and they can hear me. Might work for you...
