  1. Can not hear other players using wireless headphones

I have an Xbox X series with 2 Turtle Beach 700 G2 headsets. Both are paired to respective players’ controller. Each player can hear the game sounds and their own voice but not each other. We enabled all the settings to allow chatting, One player invited the other player and when one talks the ring light reacts for both players. The second player is linked to the Gold Live account. Firmware has been updated and I did a hard shutdown of The Xbox console. What am I missing so 2 players can hear each other during the games. Thank you for your help!

Xbox wireless headphones cannot hear other players talking while gaming

Hello AI D, thank you for reaching out to us. I'd be happy to assist you with your issue.
please answer the following questions to help me assist you better,

1.what is the model of your console?
2.was your headset functioning normally before, or is this your first time using it?
3.is your account a child or an adult account?
    4. what is your NAT type?

however, I see that you've already taken some troubleshooting steps, but let's go through some additional ones.

1.Check Party and Game Chat Settings: Ensure that the party chat and game chat settings are correctly configured on your Xbox console. Sometimes, the chat audio settings can be adjusted independently, and it's possible that the balance is set in a way that prevents you from hearing other players.

2.Check Headset Connection: Verify that your headset is properly connected to your Xbox console. If you're using a wireless connection, ensure that the headset is paired with the console and that the connection is stable. If you're using a wired connection, make sure the cable is securely plugged in.

3.Update Headset Firmware: Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Xbox wireless headset. You can usually update the firmware through the Xbox Accessories app on your console.

4.Test with Another Headset: If possible, try using a different headset or headphones with your Xbox console to see if the issue persists. This can help determine if the problem is with the headset itself or with the console's settings.

5.Adjust Chat Mixer Settings: On your Xbox console, navigate to Settings > Volume & audio output > Chat mixer. Try adjusting the chat mixer settings to prioritize game or party audio over other audio sources.

6.Restart Console and Headset: Sometimes, simply restarting your Xbox console and headset can resolve temporary issues. Turn off both devices, wait for a few minutes, and then turn them back on.

7.Check for Console Updates: Make sure that your Xbox console is running the latest system software. Go to Settings > System > Updates to check for and install any available updates.

I will be waiting for your updates to assist you further.
    Best regards,
    Adam.

Why can i connect my usb headset to my Xbox series s

Hi there Eric, my name is Gerardo, and I'm an Xbox player, just like you. I'll be happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may have.

I'm sorry to inform you that it is not possible to use headphones that connect via USB on Xbox consoles. This is mainly because the USB ports on the console are not designed for audio transfer; they are intended for data transfer to external storage devices and providing power to other devices such as Xbox controllers.

The only way to use wired headphones on Xbox consoles is through headphones that connect directly to the 3.5mm port on the controllers.

On the other hand, the only way to connect wireless headphones to the console is by using the official Xbox Wireless Headphones or licensed wireless headphones that utilize Xbox wireless technology (and that they are labeled as "Designed for Xbox" on their box). They connect natively to the console's wireless technology without using a USB dongle, meaning they pair with the console similar to pairing a new Xbox controller.

I appreciate you understanding and if you have further questions please let me know.

    Kind regards,
    Gerardo.

    Xbox Voice Chat not working

Yes I have used other accounts and I don’t think it would be the Jack that’s the problem seeing that I can hear myself when mic monitoring is turned on it’s just that voice chat isn’t working also I can hear from the headphones and I can’t talk even when using other headphones
