Can not get passed the green screen

Set up the console and turned it on. The console is on, the handheld is on. A green screen with the Xbox logo shows up but after a few seconds, the console turns it self off. I have not connected to the Internet via a cable.

mine has passed the green screen, fuzzy screen came up and now a black screen???? been on it for 50mins.....40mins previously...

What do you mean it opens at your home screen and then nothing? Are you stuck on the dashboard or is it a black or green screen?

did you ever had your x1 connected to the internet? Does your x1 got the first initial update?

my xbox one is stuck on the xbox 1 logo and its been 10 mins and still no change. someone from the xbox support said that its for an update for premium members to try the new update I tried everything that the woman said to do but nothing work not sure what
to do?
