Can not find my Xbox

    Smartglass can not find my Xbox one.

    Hi, I'm French , I will do the best for you to understand me .

    my computer is a dell optiplex320 . windows 8.1 pro is updated. I use the latest version of SmartGlass 2.1311.26000 xbox one .

    pc wifi network :192.168.0.21 -255 .255.255.0 - gateway 192.168.0.1

    Wifi network xbox one: 192.168.0.41 - 255.255.255.0 . gateway 192.168.0.1

    (I do not use vpn)

    the settings on my xbox one allows all SmartGlass applications.

    I run SmartGlass on my pc and I connect to my XBL account .

    the application launches and I see the xbox one interface and the latest game launched .

    But the application can not find my xboxone, I manually between IP 192.168.0.41 and nothing happens .

    I tried everything , including:

    restore the default router .

    dual boot on a new instal Windows 8.1, to verify that my system is not the cause.

    I tried to connect the PC and the xboxOne on the same router "cable rj45" instead of wifi.

    still the same problem .

    I reconnected the pc and "xbox one" in wifiN , change the channel wifi.

    nothing works SmartGlass application never finds the xbox.

    Yet in CMD ping 192.168.0.41 I see the xbox one .

    on the pc I can read a multimedia file on the xbox one with "play to" that launches xbox video or music on the xbox .

    the connection is perfect , why SmartGlass do not want to connect.

    to play a Dead rising and open the chests I need SmartGlass .

    I can not use my phonebut is lumia 800 in wp 7.8 SmartGlass is not supported... so I 'm stuck .

    Can I find my Xbox?

    so a couple of weeks ago my Xbox went missing and come to find out someone is on my Xbox and they're using my account. I know this for a fact because nobody who has an Xbox knows my username or password and when you turn my Xbox on it automatically logs
    into my account . Is there any way I could track where it is or get them off of my account ???

    I'm sorry to hear about the console troubles. If your console was stolen, you'll want to work with your local law enforcement to try to recover it. We have no way of assisting or locating consoles here but you can take any/all information regarding your
    console to your local law enforcement and file a report for stolen goods.

    Well, last time I tried network check it said to me that the console is connected to internet, but it was not.. So i did the factory reset and now I can not get through update when I turn x box on.

    Try Hard reboot of xbox one console hold down xbox button until it is fully off unplug the xbox for 15 seconds while still holding the button then while still holding the button plug it back in let go of the button turn it on and let it start up and try
    again. I Hope this helps.
