Can not enable atmos on Xbox One X

Have a Sony STR-DN1080 Atmos enabled receiver. Xbox running through a Caavo box. Installed Dolby app. Switched settings according to app. Then this error:

"There was a problem using this setting. Make sure your audio receiver supports it. Also make sure to choose at least one audio setting. Both can't be off.(0x80bd0009).

Receiver is atmos enabled. Have tried playing with settings on receiver and xbox. Have reached out to Caavo but i doubt it is being caused by it. I know caavo does not support Dolby Vision but neither does my TV. Trying to avoid tearing apart and trying
to isolate the problem. Anyone have any advice?

This doesnt answer my question. Im already experiencing dolby atmos audio on my system on my regular x box one. The question im asking is, which you must not have knowledge of, is does the x box one s play dolby atmos on all of the atmos enabled games like
the x box one x does. The base model x box one, which i have, does not support atmos on some games, like rise of the tomb raider and shadow of the tomb raider and assassins creed, while it does on some, like gears of war 4 and 5 and for honor. Maybe you
weren't aware of this. The question im asking is does the x box one s support dolby atmos on ALL of the atmos enabled games like the x does. If it does i will buy one so that i can have dolby atmos functionality on all such games, without having to spend
the higher cost of the x. Can you answer THIS question?

No, do not no what the insider program is,

It's basically beta testing Xbox updates. I've been having issues with Atmos lately and I'm in the preview program. Not able to help you other than that though - sorry.

Hi. If you are really worried, I would try contacting the manufacturer of the headset before trying to adjust it. I think Sony is the one you would have to contact.

Hey there Kerbouchard!

Sorry to hear that you're dealing with this issue trying to set up Dolby atmos.

So the console is able to work with that setting, and if you are having problems with setting it to that and have tried all that troubleshooting, I would try a soft reset of the console as sometimes features not working the way they should are symptoms of
an update not being applied correctly. It's a reset of your console back to factory settings but one that does not uninstall any of your games or apps and is a really good troubleshooting step for most issues.

Just make sure that before you go ahead with it, that you do know all of the sign-in information for any/all of your accounts(asthey
will be removed) and have easy access to your internet network.

Also make sure that you select the option denoted
reset and keep my games
&
apps.
