Can not download a game

I have bought gears of war 4 and it came with redemption codes for gears of war 1-4.... i tried redeeming gears of war 1 on the xbox console and it said it 'can not be supported with my language' (English) so i went on to xbox website to redeem it and it
said 'something went wrong' can anybody help or point me in the right direction? thanks in advance for any help.

Yes it does. I also cleared the cache 3 times, unplugged the system then restarted, tested the connection:

Remeeming errors are usually caused by issues on the account itself. Be sure to check your billing information at
http://billing.microsoft.com and
http://account.microsoft.com/services for any outstanding amount issues. After that try redeeming the code on both xbox console and via xbox.com/redeemcode

Also check that account , console and code region match, using different regions van cause issues too, since it did mention something about the language this is most likely the cause.

The code region must match the account region in order to redeem the codes
