can not connect to xbox live

got new comcast xfinity x1 and ever since i can not connect to xbox live. when i run the test connection on my xbox 360 it says my network my internet and my live connection are good. comcast says its an xbox issue and will not help. Hope i can find some
help here.

Can not connect to Xbox Live. Done all the trouble shooting. Can connect to the internet but not connecting to XBOX LIVE.

There are no error messages coming up at all.

Just says it can not connect to Xbox Live.

Still 2 months left on Gold membership.

How to connect to Xbox Live in X1

There is no button or menu to connect!

The system is not connected, I do a network test and it passes, but still is not connected... I can't do anything with the X1 if it's not connected to live!

Is there a way to manually connect to Xbox live in this console?

Can you verify that your Arris TG862G/CT (modem with built-in wireless router/NAT) has been configured by your ISP, to be operating in bridge mode. Since you use an additional router/NAT (Linksys EA6300), the Arris TG862G/CT must be configured to be operating
in this mode.

thank you for the reply. I contacted Comcast to request that the modem be put in bridge mode. The advisor said he put it in bridge mode but I still can not connect to xbox live. Same result when I run the connection test. network, internet, and xbox live
all say connected. The Comcast advisor said its an xbox problem and im sure Microsoft will say its a Comcast problem. So iam on the merry go round. not sure what else to try

 

Do you see an error code related to your issue?

If you haven't already, try the following steps and let us know how that goes.

Go to Xbox Network settings and select Configure Network. Select the
Additional settings tab and Restore network settings to factory defaults. Press "B" on your controller and select
Test Xbox Live Connection.

If all connections steps is solid green, good!

Delete Xbox LIVE profile safely

Before you delete your profile you have to know the username and password for your Microsoft account that is associated with your profile.

1. Go to Settings, and then select System.
2. Select Storage.
3. Select All Devices.
4. Select Gamer Profiles.
5. Select the gamertag that you want to delete.
6. Select Delete.
7. Select Delete Profile Only. This deletes the profile but leaves saved games and achievements.
   

Clear Xbox system cache

1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and select System Settings.
   
2. Select Storage or Memory.
3. Highlight any storage device, and then press Y on your controller.
4. Select Clear System Cache.
5. Repeat this process, 3 times in row.

Restart your console.

Download Xbox LIVE profile.

1. Press the Xbox Guide button on your controller (large X button in the center of your controller).
   
2. Select Download Profile.
3. Enter the Microsoft account associated with your Xbox LIVE gamertag.
4. Enter your Microsoft account password.

 

im having same kind of proble im not getting a green on test connection just a red cross after the xbox simbla an before network ???
