    Can not connect to Xbox Live (wired)


    Two day ago, I tried logging I to Xbox Live and I got an error message that said I couldn't connect to live with my profile because it might be corrupt. I sort of understand this because I recently had to update my email so that might be what the problem
    there. So I turned off my Xbox and tried it again. Since then, I keep getting error messages that say I can't connect at all. When I tried to test my connection, it stops between network and internet. I tried everything. Reconfiguring, resetting my router
    and modem, port forwarding and anything else on the support page. I even spoke to someone from customer support and she only suggested what I already tried. Also, I connect to the internet through my laptop since my modem and router are on the first floor
    and the Xbox us on the second in my room. The laptop I use is not having any problems with the internet at all. I really need to reconnect as my friend thought it was something to do with my profile and deleted it off the Xbox and now I can't download it because

    Can't connect to Xbox Live and I've tried everything...

    Can connect to internet, but not Xbox live, with Wireless Network or Wired Network. Im in Florida also (Palm Coast)

    had this installed today but can only connect xbox one to xbox live wired and not wireless keep getting "cannot connect to your DCHP server.

    all other devices in house connect fine

    You can hard wire your console directly from the modem/router if you choose, or you can use the wireless adapter (if you have an older model) or built in WiFi with Slim models.

    For Wireless Connections:

    For Wired Connections:
    support.xbox.com/.../wired

    Which configuration is best for you will depend on your unique set up and whether you're using a wired or wireless network. Best of luck.

    So what kind of connection are you trying to use a wired or wireless? Is this the new Xbox 360 Slim or the older model where you physically have to have the wireless adapter? If you have a wired cable can you connect to Xbox Live while physically wired
    from the router to the Xbox?
