Can not connect to F5 servers for multiplayer

i can not connect to the Forza 5 servers for multiplayer any more. Ever since F5 went free to play for the Gold weekend I haven't been able to get any MP races in. It worked fine every other time before this free gold weekend promotion they started.

Any one else having the same issues and does anyone know how to fix this or is this on Turn 10's side of things with the issue??

Black Ops 1--Still cannot connect to online servers

I do not get an actual error code at all. It simply says that i cannot currently connect to the black ops servers and to check www.callofduty.com/blackops for status and updates. In essence I get the same message that would appear if the servers themselves
were not functioning. My 360 emulator appears to be connected to xbox live, as I can see my friends list and send messages, however for some reason I just cannot seem to connect to the black ops 1 online servers for multiplayer or zombies.

Latency on XBox 1

Whenever I do a connection test it consistently registers around 160ms.

I wonder if the 300,000 dedicated Live servers are all in the US. If the connection test is anything to go by, then this will make multiplayer intresting for UK players.

Forza5 servers have gone down due to the idiots letting xbox live customers playing game for free so ppl who own the game cant play it. You shud thank turn 10 for this the ***

I thought MS using Azure servers wouldn't be an issue with not having enough servers for games.

Also if they're gonna be doing free gold weekends they should allocate more servers during the promotion to those games

No error message just tells me to check connections, all connections and multiplayer OK I can connect to in play servers but I cannot connect to a newly rented server for battlefield3. I assumed renting a server would make connecting easier. thanks for your reply
