Can not access my xbox live profile

Yesterday I changed my gamertag for the first time on my xbox account. I changed it from the xbox console companion.

after that i tried signing in on my xbox 360 but it did not let me, i had to download my profile again (now with the new gamertag but same info), and after i downloaded it i entered my password and it just freezes after i enter the password, in the screen
it only apears the option to remember password and next, but you cant select any of them and it just keeps loading for hours.

i tried deleting it and downloading it again, my connection to the internet is fine and my xbox is also fine, but it does not let me use my profile cause it just keeps loading without letting me select the next option or the remember password option

Is your password possibly longer than 16 characters? The 360s do not like passwords longer than 16 characters.

Where you able to sign in with your account prior to changing the gamertag?

Whenever you do change your gamertag you do have to redownload your profile to your 360 consoles including the emulators on the Ones if you have a One.

Did you possibly turn on two step verification when you were changing your gamertag?
The 360s do not play well with two step verification you would either need to turn it off or use an app password.

Hmm, things suddenly got complicated for my case. I understand what my problem is. I think I can fully explain my situation now. Okay its like this. The current gamertag I'm using isn't the one I made up. Microsoft or Xbox did. My main gamer profile and
gamertag is "citrusanime."Apparently, this gamerprofile I'm using is associated with my Windows live ID and password I was able to download this profile on and now I can access xbox live with it. But my main Gamerprofile, which has all my game data and achievements
I can't access xbox live with it. so the only way I can access my hard drive is that I have to take out my wireless cable out if I ever want to access and play my game data. I only have one Windows live account so I don't see what the problem is. Can you access
xbox live that isn't a windows live ID? All I simply want to do is access the the marketplace with my main gamer profile.

Yes they can. You set the one that has no Xbox live as Home Xbox of the profile that has Xbox Live. This then shares Xbox Live and games. The profile with Xbox Live can sign in on any other console and have access to their Xbox live and games.

if you are adding a second profile to your xbox 360 and the main profile has xbox live gold then from my understanding the seccond profile will have access to the same xbox live gold features as the main profile.

My xbox are arriving to me on this week and I'm with a question.

I'll buy the live gold for play games online and also to buy digital games.

my questions...

my gf will use my xbox with me, on their own profile. their will have access on the games that I buy ?

and, they can play online using their profile but my live gold ?

its like, the live gold is for the xbox console (and all profiles) or is for each profile, then my gf need to buy gold also ?
