Can no longer send messages on iOS app. Get message saying "access to feature blocked"

Sorry, But as of right now there is no option for voice messaging, it is a feature we may see in the future. If you want to send typed messages faster, you can download the smartglass app on your IOS or android device and use the keyboard on that to send
messages.

I've only had this happen on the app on my phone, where it will randomly give an error saying "Access to this feature is blocked" even though, no I haven't blocked messaging and I can message fine with my friends. What fixes it is to force stop the app,
and then restart it. Then, messages work fine.

My Xbox app is always having bugs like this. Also, when I try to send messages through the app, I get an error message saying that this feature is blocked. But no, I haven't blocked it. It's a glitch. So I then have to go through the console and return
messages through there. I really hope Xbox fixes this stuff at some point. I also don't get a lot of my notifications on the app. :/

You can get some of the features of SmartGlass now using the XBOX Companion app from the iOS App Store or on Windows Phone (I'm not sure if it is on Android yet). This app lets you send/receive XBOX messages, and control your XBOX from the app.

If you don’t want to receive communications from a specific player on Xbox One, you can block that player. Do this by selecting the player’s gamertag from within the game and blocking the player. If the person is no longer playing the game, you can search
and block the person through the Profile app.

The block only applies to communications such as messaging. The blocked player will not be able to send you messages, unless you first send a message to that player. However, a blocked player can still join games with you.
