Can no longer add the free Xbox one games from Games with Gold on my Xbox 360

I've had 2 issues occur trying to add the free Xbox One game to my list to play in the future when I finally purchase an Xbox One system. For the past few months I was consistently getting the 807B01F4 error so I have not been able to add any of the Xbox
One games lately. I don't know why I started getting this error but I could not get the issue rectified. And now when I tried again a few days ago I can no longer even get to the next screen that would allow me to add it to my list. I hovered over the game
tile on the Game with Gold screen, I pressed the Select button and nothing happens. The only thing that occurs is it makes the sound when you press the button, the game tile shrinks for a second and that's it. I have absolutely no issues with the free Xbox
360 games, its just the Xbox One games. I have had a gold membership for years and only until recently have I had these issues. Can anyone help with trying to get this fixed?

Does this occur on the console and if you try on the website? If you have not tried adding them from the website I would recommend trying that. Then you can just go to your Ready to Install section to start downloading.

Same account, when I try adding it through the website it tells me I don't have any applicable devices linked

Thanks for reaching out to us here on the forums with this situation. First I would recommend going to

Microsoft Account Services and confirming the same Microsoft Account that has Xbox Live Gold is the one you're trying to get the Games with Gold with. If it is in fact the account I would recommend trying to acquire the games with gold from
Xbox Games with Gold. Give it a try and let us know with a reply.

The way I get my games for gold is on the website. Especially if it's a game I want to save for a later date. Have you tried that yet?

No, thats not what i am saying.

I am saying that as a gold member that only has a 360, you can now add the free xbox one games for gold to your download history direct from your 360 dashboard.

Once you get an xbox one those free xbox games you added will be free to download to your new console.

You apparently could download them from this site before, you can now do that on your console.
