Can never join or invite friends to any game.

So far been only able to invite people to Party chat but have to have the snap on the side that is very annoying in order to talk to them. Games is a no luck road. So far I have tried to invite a friend of mine(and several others to test it out) I am wondering
if any one has had this issue and found a solution. I keep getting a "Failed to invite friend/party into your game, please try again later" message every time I invite a friend into DeadRising 3 or him for me. The only reason behind the purchase of the xbox
one is to play with my friend and he did it the same since I was the only one of his friends to get it. We are unable to do so. . . I've had my One for around a month now and its the same story. Buy a game play it invite friend. . . can't. Return game get
another one try it, still nope.

The only thing I can think of is there is a default setting that set my account to private/no invites or something. It is also not an internet or connection issue since my 360 works just fine along with my Wii, PS3 and PS4 . . it seems to be a Xbox One issue.

I have already hard reset my console and reset back to system default and all that. Still can't play. How ever my 360 I can invite play and enjoy my console I bought. Xbox One how ever has been anything but.

Again if there is any one with a solid solution to this problem I would be most appreciated. This is the only day I have to sit down and enjoy a gaming before another month of stress. Id really like to use this console I bought. :\

Unabke to receive most invites

Since the update I've been unable to receive invites from almost everybody. I can receive most, but not all, invites from friends and followers and 99% of invites from others are never received either. I can still join parties and games with other people
and send invites to others with no problem but I can't receive invites which makes it very difficult to play games or join parties with people not on my friends list.

 

Not receiving invites

Can I please get help? Whenever my friends invite me to a game I don't get the invite. I can invite my friends to the party, but I never get any notifications or invites and it's really frustrating.

 

Hey there, Milliardo! Sorry that connecting up with friends is a bit difficult. You mention that you have both an Xbox One and an Xbox 360. They use the same ports to connect to Xbox Live and you might have a NAT problem. Can you post back what your router
and modem are, as well as your ISP? Some devices aren't meant to handle more than one Xbox console and I want to make sure that you don't have one of those.

I too have been having that same problem and I only have Xbox1. Its connected with a cable to a cable modem. I use to be able to invite friends to games and connect to games my friends invited me to. Looks like a common problem. I hope there is a solution
soon as I like my xbox1 and wouldnt want to replace it with a ps4. That I have been contemplating.
