Can my son use my xbox live gold account?

I purchased an xbox live gold 12 month membership pre-paid card for my son. There are two Microsoft accounts set up on my sons xbox. Both with different email addresses. I have entered the pre pay code under my account as I thought this was the correct way
as the parent. The membership was intended for my son to use but he can't as its on my account. I am very confused. how do I rectify this situation? Can my son put his avatar onto my account? Any suggestions please?

Do you need to purchase a 2nd xbox live account for a 2nd system?

My oldest son has an xbox one and a Gold membership. My 2nd son has an xbox 360 on a 2nd tv. Do I need to purchase a 2nd xbox live subscription for my 2nd son, or can he use the same account and Gold membership as my oldest? Thanks!

I have xbox live at my house....my sons come over and use it.....Now my exwife bought an xbox console..is there anyway they can use my yearly gold membership at there moms house too

You can share your account with your son just be sure to carefully monitor his activities as the account is in your name and is your responsibility. If you willing to give up your avatar you son can modify yours. Unfortunately once a prepaid code.is used
on an account it can not be removed. You could try calling support by phone to see if they can refund.the code and give you a new code but it is doubtful as they will only do it in extreme circumstances for other various reasons.

I only have 2 XBOX One consoles. The XBOX Live account is associated with my account which I use for parental controls on my two sons accounts. They each use their own separate account to play on their own XBOX One console.

- 2 XBOX One consoles

- my admin account with XBOX Live subscription

- my two sons have their own accounts they use to play on each of their XBOX One Consoles.

Sorry, I read it as 3 consoles. In that situation you would actually want to purchase gold on one of your son's account. As it's set up now, you can set one of the consoles as your Home and share the gold there, but the other console would not be able to
access the gold. If you buy gold on your son's account, they can set one of the consoles as their Home to share the gold with the other son, then continue using the gold while signed in on the non-Home console.

I was just thinking......with the TWO xbox live gold accounts we have.....can i sign in with my SON's account on my DAUGHTER's Xone.....and set that as HOME for HIS account and share gold? Then would all 3 of us be able to play on 3 different consoles (using

Based on your story, your sons would each have their own Xbox correct? To share Xbox live gold between your two sons, Son A must set his account as Son B's home Xbox on Son B's own Xbox. Son B can then use his own account and not Son A's account to access Xbox live gold pass. Now Son A on his own Xbox must use his own account since it is the one that purchased Xbox Live Gold to access Xbox live gold pass. My xbox gold account's home xbox is the model S. This lets my Son play the games I have purchased.

I use the model X signed in as my gold account. This is my Son's home xbox.

My son uses the model S signed in as his gold account, this is MY home xbox

My daughter tries to sign into the model X (my son's home xbox who has a valid gold account) and it says she needs gold to play online or join a party etc. She should have access to gold because this is my son's home xbox who has an active gold subscription.

Can my son use my xbox live gold account?
