Can my internet provider change mynat type for me?

So I just changed from ps3 to xbox one, and my nat type of ps3 was strict, but i could play gta 5 and stuff alright. Now on my xbox one, it is still strict, and i can't join parties or play gta online, i get kicked out of gta online after a few minutes.
My internet is good, i have around 87% signal strength, and a brand newmoden/router all in one. It is nothing to do with my internet speed or anything.

Whenever I join a party on xbox i get an error that says i'm unable due to my connection, but I can still download games and stuff at a fast pace.

So if i rang up my isp, would they be able to take over my computer and change my nat type for me?

Has anybody got disconnected from Live while playing?

That got my nat type to open, but i joined a game and it happened again. For now i'll put the blame on bad internet, if nothing changes soon i'll have to ring up my provider :/

Xbox 360 live

Some internet services offer a type of usb stick that will provide internet access where there is none. However that is dependent on the local areas internet as well.

You should do some research with your internet service provider or cell phone provider for more information.

Some ISPs do house calls to fix network related issues but it may cost you a fee.

You could always check out
http://www.portforward.com

On this site it gives you a step by step to port forwarding and opening your Nat. It's quite easy you just look up your modem and model number, access your router settings and it tells you step my step what ports you need to open. Once done turn off your
modem and Xbox One off from the wall, wait a few minutes and turn them both back on.

This issue should also be getting fixed in an upcoming update So hopefully you should see improvments in the next update

Your NAT type would be a result of your router/modem setup. You can fix it fairly easily yourself if you know what you're doing. Your ISP could technically use some kinda remote access to control your computer and go into the router settings and fix it.

I've just talked with my internet provider, they said that recently xbox live started working on IPv6 and they don't support it, they only work on IPv4. Is there any chance that Microsoft can help me with this one ? or the only solution is to change my internet
provider.
