    Can Microsoft honor Gamestop's 'Buy an Xbox One console, get a free $60 game'?


    Hi everyone,

    I was planning on purchasing an XBox One X on August 18th, at GameStop, to take advantage of their trade-in deal and a free $60 game. Unfortunately, when trading in my Playstation 4 and Xbox One Day One edition, I forgot a cord and was unable to trade in
    my gear that day. The next day, when trading it in, they wouldn't allow me to take advantage of the free $60 game deal because that promotion had ended and since it was a manufacturer's deal (Microsoft, I'm guessing), they couldn't honor it. I totally get
    it, it was my mistake for forgetting the cord, but seeing as how I'm a long time MS Xbox customer, was wondering if you guys could help.

    I think I will EVENTUALLY own SpecOPS:The Line.....sounds like a great game to get at one of GameStop's buy 2 get 1 free sale later in the year. Not worth $60 right now imo.

    After the reviews, this has Duke game has become a bargain bin buy for me.

    And by that, the free game in Gamestop's Buy 2, Get 1 Free used games sale

    Congratulations on making the jump to Xbox One. According to Major Nelson GameStop has some great deals on. Until today only you get an additional game and wireless controller for free when you purchase an Xbox One bundle. Also at Gamestop you can get
    a $100 credit towards a new Xbox One when you trade in your old 360 console (available until November 21).

    I am agree with you. Yesterday made Microsoft me totally angry. When they made statement that ALL Xbox One pre-orders will get FIFA 14 I went to Gamestop store and ordered Xbox One. Of course it was satandard version, because all Day One consoles is sold
    out already long time ago. I asked that will I get with that standard version free FIFA 14. They confirmed it. I checked Microsoft statements on official websites and all Microsoft statements made very clear that all pre-orders can get FIFA 14.

    But now they changed offer yesterday. They are not going to honor offer and they give FIFA 14 only with Xbox One Day One. I am really very angry at Microsoft now. They tricked me buy standard version.
