    Can log into one live account but not another


    Hello forum.

    I can log onto xbox live from one account but not from another on the same 360 console. Ok get the "Cannot connect to live" message. Both live accounts are paid and up to date and I can log onto the live website with both accounts.When I go to the console
    > xbox guide > settings > profile it shows me all the options except account security is greyed out. I checked my other profile.and there is no issue, I can log onto live with that one. Ideas, suggestions...anyone else run into this?

    I have one account name that can not connect to xbox live and another that can yet I cannot log into that account

    Can connect on PC, but not XBox.

    I keep getting error code 80048821, wrong email or password. I can log into Xbox live on my computer but not on the Xbox. It started happening when renewed another xbox live account.

    Hi there, I would suggest making sure the other accounts security information is up to date by verifying some security proofs, see here for steps:

    support.xbox.com/.../add-security-contact-information

    If you're certain that your information is up to date then delete the effected profile from the console (profile only), clear the system cache, restart the console and re-download the profile.

    Delete and re-download profile:
    support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

    Clear system cache:
    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

    If still now success, post back with any error codes or messages your seeing other then the 'can't connect to XBL' message.

    So is this not your LIVE account, the Xaveus account?. Do you have one with another name?.

    You can not make 2 LIVE accounts with the same E mail address, so if you are trying to access the forums using a different account are you positive it is the correct log in info?.

    Uh oh... that shouldn't have happened. (my live id dates from 2005)

    From my experience having another Windows Live ID logged in will cause this issue. As I was in college I had another account for school related things. And when ever I was logged in on that account, I would get that error when trying to log into the account
    related to my Xbox profile. I had to make sure I was logged out of my school email and everything worked fine.

    Posting here is your best bet. Clear your browsers cache. Depending on which browser you are using, you can have it remember log in's and passwords. You may want to remove the one for logging into the Xbox.com site.

    That's all the advice I can give.
