Can Kinect detect ghosts/spirits? kinect opinions/discussion.

I decided to create this open discussion about this topic. What are your thoughts and opinions about this? yes or no, and why.

I'm happy with going with Kinect for Xbox 1. I don't have it for Xbox 360. With Kinect, it adds to your Xbox experience. It's been popular with Xbox 360. On Xbox 1, you can use it to (1) Console Video Chat (2) voice chat no need for a mic (3) QR code reader,
hold the card standing 2 metres away facing the Kinect, and after 2 seconds you can redeem your XBL content. No having to tediously enter in accurately a 25 digit code. Though QR code option isn't available for everything on Xbox Live (4) like Windows Hello,
securely sign in onto your console without a password or pin. It can also differentiate between twins (5) play supported games with it. I have Kinect Sports Rivals and Zoo Tycoon which is fun with Kinect.

If you want, you can also discuss your opinions of Kinect too. Xbox 1 S does not have a dedicated Kinect port but you can get a Kinect dongle. Probably due to the Xbox 1 S's size restriction, keeping costs down, and since not everyone wants Kinect, are among
the reasons why there's no Kinect port on the slim. Which brings up a question, will Microsoft have a dedicated Kinect port on Xbox Scorpio? On Microsoft Store, Kinect is cheaper than an Elite Controller!

think $100 is too much might faint at the price tag of HoloLens and VR.

The game kinect sports season 1 does not detect the player. Season 2 and other games for kinect detect the player.

 

X box VR with kinect input ?

hi,

in first sorry for my english. am french and this morning only one question is in my mind .

why they don't use kinect input devise to create a new generation of VR helmet? they already have the technologie of kinect and it work good.

it maybe awsome look . imagine front skin with a large form like x and at end of the four angle you can place kinect input's .

kinects can use to detect player movement and interactions. it can detect environment and prevent user like xbox one when we are too far or too close.

i have search for this concept every where but i have don't find any things about that's. i don't know if it's been possible or imagine yet .

what's your opinion? thank's for read :}

Also Kinect under settings you can see "what else can Kinect see". You can switch between 3 viewing modes (1) normal, nake eye view (2) colours (3) shadowy. Number 3 is particularly interesting. Ever since Xbox 1 launched, there have been threads whether
Kinect can see ghosts/spirits. Rather than doing a Google search or searching through this site for the thread, I thought I'd bring this topic back up to the surface.

 

Well,i put a bottle of Jack Daniels in front of my Kinect for an hour & nothing happened so no,the Kinect can't detect spirits.

I will try some Vodka next just to confirm my findings.

 

Smileskybird, you have received an upvote from me for a rather interesting topic, however in respect of what's real or surreal in our presence, I think you've been led on a wild goose chase as the 'macguffin' that is the spectral realm when using Kinect
was brought to (eerie) light in the movie, Paranormal Activity 4, in which the kids could *definitely* view otherworldly things in their living room! Way too scary for real life!

Will the Scorpio feature a Kinect port? Highly doubtful, as the peripheral (otherwise known as an 'albatross' around Microsoft's neck) has been put to pasture - hence the omission from Xbox One S. If there's any focus on next-level gadgets for Scorpio, it would
have to be Oculus VR or HoloLens AR. We should have a clearer picture after E3.

 

Yes it can pick up paranormal activities such as spirits and ghost and I think that is absolutely fantastic and a remarkable breakthrough of future technology , it is exactly what the planet and human beings need to move forward and evolve
into higher dimensions . This is the greatest invention since the motor vehicle , we can now move up and forward and it is time to upgrade ourselves and our planet. Let's move into the 4th ,5th, 6th dimension cause we been stuck in the 3rd for too long don't

Watch the youtube videos of what exactly you need and how to set it up and work it correctly , there is a special specific way with certain other devices along with the sensor camera that you need in order to make this work.

Go to youtube and type in ... What cords, equipment , apps, plugs , sensors , do you need to ghost hunt with Xbox Kinect camera ? And what is the instructions of setting it up ?
