Can Kinect control Active speakers + Optima HD141x

Set Up:

Projector, xbox, kinect and speakers are on a long shelf positioned on the rear wall all facing forward. Placement of kinect sensor is fine as all (almost) functions work flawlessly.

HD141x to xbox via hdmi

cable box (virgin tivo) to xbox via hdmi

xbox to TIBO plus Two active speakers via optical.

Problems:

1. PJ will not turn on with xbox through any method. Voice, controller or touch button. it will turn the PJ off without any issues.

2. I cannot control the volume of the Active speakers unless i use the original remote. I do not have an Av receiver. Is there perhaps remote code that can turn the volume up/down.

Xbox One with Optoma HD141X Projector

Saw this thread when I was looking for information on getting my HD141X to work with the Kinect.

Did some digging and found a remote code for the GT1080 (another Optima projector that the remote control for the HD141X can control)! Both on and off commands work flawlessly.
