    Xbox live sent me $5 gift card like 15 days ago. I live in Turkey so our currency is Turkish lira. I can't use dollar on my Xbox as you know mate. So can we exchange dat $5 gift card to Turkish lira gift card?

    Gold can only be purchased via credit card/Paypal or by purchasing a prepaid gold card from a retailer. It is not possible to use your MIcrosoft account balance to purchase gold.

    You can use it already to buy prepaid subscription codes on Microsoft store. Or you can contact support, they can purchase it on your behalf using your gift card credits.

    You can only use the money from the gift cards on digital content, not at microsoftstore.com, and support will not use your account balance to purchase gold.
