Can I use my account on an already started game?

Hey there!

A week ago, I started a new game of Assassins Creed Black Flag and am now 25% into the game. To access a certain part of the game, I needed to log in to my Xbox Live account, but I didn't have one at the time, so it asked me to create a new one.

But that created an entirely new user where I could start a fresh game. That's not what I want! I want to link my account to the game I've already started playing. But no matter what I try to log in on an xbox live account on my game, it just keeps logging
me out of that user and logging me into the new one. So now I have two profiles on my console - one with my saved game and one linked to xbox live.

Is there no way I can do this? Cause I'm not really so excited about having to play through the entire first half of the game again just cause I can't continue playing my previous saved game with my live account.

Find an email address linked to a gamertag

Hi everyone,

I changed my xbox and wanted to use my xbox account to my new xbox to play the games I already started on the previous one.

However, I don't remember the email address I used to create my xbox account. I just have the gamertag. How can I find the email address linked to my gamertag please?

My product key is already in use?

So I bought Darksouls: Prepare to Die Edition on steam and started it up. Then made a Windows Live account (I don't do Xbox) and input my product key, then a message popped up saying the key was already in use. What went wrong and how can I fix it?

Game saves are tied to the account that started them. So you would have to join Live with your original account in order to continue using that account.

That's what I've been trying to do! My original account is just called Player1 and whenever I try to join Live on that account, it just creates new separate accounts

OK, thanks. So, I create a new MS account for her. Can I then rename or delete the gamertag in my account so that she can use it in hers? If not, then she can get a new one, but will lose the games she has already started with her uncle (two uncles now). That wouldn't be a game-changer, though.

I say that I have already used the game before and if I can use my Xbox account email and password but it says that no fortnite account is on it but when I go to link my account to Xbox live, it says that there is an account that is already signed in

I understand that you're having issues trying to sign into your Xbox (and Xbox profile) with your Microsoft account.

First, I would suggest attempting to sign into your
Microsoft Account on the actual Microsoft website with the email that

is associated with the Gamertag that you would play with. This will determine whether or not the issue is actually with your

logins since it's been a while since you've used it. Maybe your password needs to be reset or some security options need to be updated.
