No, there is no Microphone you can use on the Xbox One. If you want to use it for broadcasting or Streaming, then you have to use a PC to stream, as that is the only way to use a microphone to stream or broadcast your games.

The only option is either to use a headset with a built-in microphone or find a mic that can be used via the 3.5mm audio port on the controller

I knew you could change where the voice played out from, but I truly did not know you could use one device (aside from your TV or regular headset) to listen and use a completely separate device to talk.

As far as I know there is no way to split the chat function to 2 devices like this.

I think you will either have to buy a decent headset if you are not happy with the one you have or just continue using it as is.
