    can i use a DLC code from US on my xbox?


    i live in hong kong, i was going to buy a DLC code from a seller online, he says he won't sell it to me because he lives in the US and DLC code he has is made in the US and won't work in Hong Kong

    is it true? will it work if i buy it from him? will i be able to play it if i redeem it?

    Yeah bro and I'm on PS4. Got the game and added my dlc code on PSN and nothing. It added my 75,000 VC that I bought but nothing from my dlc!! WTF??

    I'm from the US and received a code for a DLC from a friend in the UK and upon redeeming said code, I get a "Region error" message. Is there any way that I can redeem this code on my end so that I can redeem and download the DLC?

    I had the same problem you had, and when I unplugged the wireless adapter from the Xbox and reloaded the game, everything became available.

    Sucks, because I love my Rig 800.

    EDIT:

    Also, if you use the Gamestop bonus weapons code, it seems to affect the DLC content. That is to say, use the Extra DLC voucher as opposed to the Gamestop DLC. I've tried a combination of these a few times now.

    In short, if you are using the Delux DLC and the Gamestop preorder code in tandem, delete the Gamestop DLC, unplug your bluetooth adapter from your xbox (if applicable) and reload your game. Afterward, you can reconnect the bluetooth adapter and use your
    headset as normal.

    I believe it should be OK to use in Ireland/UK if you look carefully at the serial number label on the back of your Xbox One S just above the barcode it should hopefully say it supports a rating of 100-240V~ .

    I think you just need to obtain the correct figure 8 power cable for the region.
