    Can I use a 1440p 144hz monitor with my One S?


    I'm currently looking at purchasing a ViewSonic VX2758-2KP-MHD. It's a 1440p 144hz monitor. I am aware xbox games are capped at 60, however, I wanted something I could use for next gen as well and not feel like I was limiting myself with a lower refresh rate. Will I see any benefits from this monitor in terms of smoothness? Is it worth it? What about picture? Would I be better to just get a 4k 60hz monitor?(Again, thinking about the future consoles)

    Any input or advice would be appreciated. I play almost exclusively FPS(Battlefield, COD).

    Yeah my monitor is a 1440p 144hz LG. It seems like everyone in this thread is having issues with 1440p monitors. I fixed the problem by switching my resolution to 1080p whenever I want to record footage.
