Can I Update Apps?

    Are Apps updated at all? Is it something I have to do or is it done automatically?

    i can't update

    Is it asking you to update your console itself? Or is this a game update?

    Can I Update Apps?

    If you just run an app it will update if there is a newer version. They can be set to automatically update if you have your power mode settings to 'Instant on' which can be found in settings / Power & Startup. Make sure you have automatically download updates
    checked too of course.

    If any games or apps have automatically updated they will have a little star on the top right of them.

    Thanks, I don't like automatic updates because I like to run it to see what is run and to know its run. Is there a way to do that and have it check for updates?

    No, automatic or manually update as you run an app, there is no way of checking if an app needs updated.

    Hello,

    As you can see from the first msg I send the first thing I did was to check that my drivers and apps are updated. Confirmed the version with my friend whos microsoft store and xbox app work.

    Drivers are updated, windows is updated and apps are updated. Thats not the issue right now.

    Why did Mixer app disappeared on xbox one and is not in the store after an update?

    If an APP fails an update it can be de-installed although I think Mixer is more of a built in app than a selectable one. Have you checked for any updates or even software updates on your console?
