can i turn my mic up?

i have a pretty good headset but people can’t seem to hear me as well when i have it plugged into my xbox, it works better than fine on anything else but i sound like i’m barely speaking apparently, is there a certain setting i should use to help it pick
up my voice better? all i can do right now is the push it closer to my mouth and talk louder but i have a a very small voice to begin with

Xbox one mic stopped working

Same problem as everyone has mentioned. Mic shows I'm connected. I can hear others through it. If I turn volume up, it beeps. Mute light turns on. No one can hear me. Not in game chat while not being in a party. Not in party chat while ensuring I'm in party
chat not game chat. Mic logo comes up that shows my mic is plugged in. My NAT is open. This is getting to be absolutely ridiculous.

In the xbox headset there are the Volume controls: A
volume up/down dial is on the side of the audio controls. Simply scroll it up or down to your preference. You can also
adjust your headset audio and mic monitoring by going to Settings and selecting Devices & Accessories. Select your controller and then select the audio option you want to use.

For me, I unplug both the mic and turn off controller then plug them back in.

Then I realise my mic is muted from the headset. I have a Turtle Beach Recon 50x so there is a switch on the wire to mute the mic.

You can also check the audio settings to see if mic monitoring is all the way up.

I did that and sadly no give. When my headset is plugged in. The only mic i can turn on or off is my kinect.

I AM SO ANGY RAWR!!! THIS STUPID MIC WON'T WORK!!! Whenever I go into a party chat I can't talk. I turn the volume up till I hear beeping I can mute the mic and the orange light will come on but I can't talk! I have held my controller up to the connect,
turned the xbox off and turn it on with the mic plugged in, Unplug the xbox one, do that thing wilth the open connection I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING AND I JUST AM SO FRUSTERATED!!! CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME!!!
