  1. Can I transfer the licences of purchased games to other user?

My brother purchased the Xbox 360 console and some games, then he gifted all to me. Then I purchased other games, and I would like to have all the game licences (the games purchased by me and my brother) associated to my account, allowing me to download
them - the games - without purchase them again.

    Is it possible?

    :)

    Transfer data question.

Hi, to transfer content licences associated with your console you must sign in to the console with the profile used to purchase the content. Once signed in go to Settings > account > billing options and select licence transfer following the on screen instructions to transfer the licences to the new console so other profiles can use the content. Content can not be transfered across profiles only across consoles - hope this helps

  3. I can't seem to play the full version of Minecraft while offline...

As Scratch said above, downloaded games and DLC content are linked to your Gamertag PLUS your console. If you want to play the game offline on another Xbox, you need to transfer the license. Here are the instructions Can I transfer the licences of purchased games to other user? :)

You can transfer content licences from one console to another once every four months.

If your console was recently repaired, or if you’ve purchased a new console, use the licence transfer option on your console to transfer content licences. Here’s how:

    1. On your console, sign in to Xbox LIVE using the gamertag that you used to purchase the content.

    2. Go to the Settings and then select Account.

    3. Go to Your Billing Options, and then select Licence Transfer.

    4. Follow the on-screen instructions to transfer the content licences.

After the licences have been transferred, you need to download the content again to update the local licences. This way the content can be used by other profiles on your console and when you’re not connected to Xbox LIVE.

How do I transfer a paid game that I bought on the microsoft store from one account to the other?

Hello, IamNotInPain. Thanks for reaching Xbox gamer's community. My name is Lucas. I'm a Xbox Gamer and a Xbox user like you. I'll be happy to assist you out today.

When you purchase content, you receive a licence to use that content. The licence has two parts: the system licence and the local licence. The system licence applies to the gamertag that purchases the content, and the local licence applies to the console where you first downloaded the content.

    Transfer content licences

You can transfer content licences from one console to another once every four months.

If your console was recently repaired, or if you’ve purchased a new console, use the licence transfer option on your console to transfer content licences. Here’s how:

On your console, sign in to Xbox Live using the gamertag that you used to purchase the content.

Go to the Settings and then select Account.

Go to Your Billing Options, and then select Licence Transfer.

Follow the on-screen instructions to transfer the content licences.

After the licences have been transferred, you need to download the content again to update the local licences. This way the content can be used by other profiles on your console and when you’re not connected to Xbox Live.

Moving games to a new account?

Digital Rights Management (DRM) technology is used by content providers, such as Xbox Live, to control how digital game and video files are used and distributed. Xbox Live sells and rents DRM-protected videos, games and add-in content that are covered by
media usage rights that allow specific uses of that content.

When you purchase content, you receive a licence to use that content. The licence has two parts: the system licence and the local licence. The system licence applies to the gamertag that purchases the content, and the local licence applies to the console

This is only for the 360 and does not transfer anything between accounts.
