Can I transfer my fortnite username and profile to another family member?

About a year ago I purchased the xbox one S for my son. He has been using my microsoft account so all the skins and things he has acquired over this time period are under my name. I just set him up with his own account under the "add a family member".
Does he have to start over with a new username and all the skins he has acquired or can I somehow transfer everything over to him?

Setting time limit on adult account

My son has been playing on my (adult) account but I need to set a time limit so the XBox wil turn off. I've set device limits for the family but he does't log in as himself. He said he will lose all the work he has done in Fortnite if he logs into his
account, not mine. And that he would lose the friends. Is there a way to transfer it to his account AND can I set a time limit for the device under my username?

Well, normally you would not be able to transfer content and progress between accounts through Xbox Live. He would have to start all over. However, Epic Games usually has their customers create their own (completely separate) Epic Games account, through
which a majority of that is saved in their servers.

If you could perhaps have your child sign into that profile through the game, he should be good.

If you have any trouble accessing that Epic Games account, I would contact
their support and see what options they have to help you with this issue as well.

In a near future, I believe that Epic is implementing a Merging services so you can your Merge Epic account over to a new account due to the recent cross play support but Sony.
