    Can I transfer my account over from another Xbox without accessing that Xbox?


    I bought a new Xbox 360 today, and I'm hoping to be able to access my old Live account from it. I used the account on an Xbox belonging to my former roommate, but I no longer have access to that Xbox and didn't download my profile from it, nor can I get
    my former roommate to delete my profile from it (there's some bad blood between us and he's not taking my calls). When I try to log in with my info on my new Xbox, it says that the Live account is already associated with another Xbox. Is there any way that
    I can remotely disable my profile from his Xbox and use it on my new one? Any help is appreciated.

    Can I transfer a gamertag from one Live account to another Live account? I own both Live accounts, but the primary account that I use does not have the gamertag that I prefer to use - it is on the seconday account. So I'd like to transfer the gamertag from
    the 2nd account to my primary, then delete the secondary Live account. Can I do this without losing my gamertag?

    Try this: access your option under "My Account" on xbox.com, select device management, go to "See 360 Profile Protection" and click on "require profile download". If that doesn't help let me know.

    There's not anything that says "Require profile download' that I can click. There's one console listed under "Xbox 360 consoles that require your password at sign-in", which I know is his, since it's dated the last time I used it back in July.

    There's not anything that says "Require profile download' that I can click. There's one console listed under "Xbox 360 consoles that require your password at sign-in", which I know is his, since it's dated the last time I used it back in July.

    You can' transfer licenses from an account to another account, only from one Xbox to another Xbox.

    You can recover your account on your Xbox and transfer your licenses from your old Xbox to a new one and you will be able to access all of your DLC with your main account.
