can I transfer Minecraft worlds/packs from my account to my son's?

Minecraft on Xbox One X.

Following the recent update to version 1.14, ALL of my son's purchased content (texture packs, maps, skins) has disappeared. All of his worlds are present, so clearly he is signed-in appropriately.

This is clearly unacceptable - does anyone know what is going on?

Same thing happened to my account 😥😥 all my skins, packs, and add on worlds I bought from the shop are gone, just not my other saved worlds

Hi, around 2011 I purchased Minecraft Java for my son using my own email (this Microsoft account). So naturally when we migrated the Mojang account it got migrated to my personal Microsoft account. Now my son is an adult, and due to safety and privacy reasons we would like to transfer the Minecraft user to my sons own Microsoft account, and was wondering if that was possible?

Unfortunately nothing is transferable between accounts.

Minecraft doesn't store the worlds "in the cloud" so that multiple devices can access one world.

If you have a world stored on your iPad, the Switch will NOT automatically have the world, even if you use the same Microsoft Account.

Your son can either "visit" the world on the iPad with the Switch, while the iPad is running Minecraft at that time through Multiplayer.

If you really want to have the world shared across both devices, your only option is to "rent" a realm that you have to pay for in monthly subscription fees.

Or if your son is okay with transferring the world from one device (e.g. iPad to the Switch and only play on the Switch from then on), you could use a free trial for Realms to transfer the world over.

To do that, your son activates a Realm subscription with a free trial on iOS, and uploads the desired world to the Realm service.

Then he connects the Switch to the same Realm, and downloads the world to his Switch.

Then you cancel the Realm subscription via

So, yes I can confirm that home Xbox on my account is enabled. I can also confirm that my son is able to open and play the Minecraft game itself from his account, which was purchased from my account, on our Xbox.

The actual problem seems to have started yesterday though when we purchased the Minecraft's "Deluxe Edition", which basically is not a game or version of the game on its own but only adds "worlds" and "modes"into our existing Minecraft game (as far as I could understand). The issue my son is having is that he cannot see those added worlds and modes of he opens the game from his profile while I can do that without any problem.

So my son plays minecraft on the ipad and I have bought many packs and skins for him. Now that he is a little older I made him his own xbox account and I'd like for all the packs and skins to be transfered to his account. It is a child account that is
connected to mine but when I sign into the game with his account all the old packs and skins are not there and he has to remain signed into my account.

Is there any way to migrate these purchases to a child account connected to a main account so he can have some "account independence"
