Can i talk with my friends via Kinect and hear them via my headphones?

unfortunately it won't work, the chat needs to be configured all on the headset or outside of it, there is no way to partially configure it as needed, unfortunately you will need a new headset for that.

My TB headset plays all audio via the headset. I can also hear people talking via the tv. I don't have the sound up on my tv and I use the Kinect to talk to friends. Works really well.

it said no updates needed- when I connected via usb.

Now, Opened skype, made a call using kinect camera.

camera works fine, I can hear other people via earphone connected directly to my remote. However, they cannot hear me via the earphone. If I remove the earphones, they can pickup the sound from the kinect microphone.

I'm not sure if these headphones are compatible via USB. If the headphones can be connected via a headphone jack then you can plug them directly into the port on your controller. This will allow sound and voice to work
