Can I synchronize 2 gamertags?

A few months ago my little brother and I bought the new xbox one. By installing it we needed to make a new (Microsoft) account and 2 gamertags. A few days ago I found out that it's possible to use my gmail as Mircosoft account as well. So I connected my
gmail to Microsoft and made a new gamertag with my gmail. I was wondering if it's possible to synchronize these two gamerstags so I don't lose all achievements and my in-game progress. Does anybody know if that is possible and how to do it?

synchronization issues

Ive got jigsaw app on 2 separate devices, my surface pro 4 and an all in one pc. For several months now I can't get my devices to synchronize. My other apps ie solitaire mahjong synchronize without any problems, this is just happening with the jigsaw app.
I also have issues with the monthly challenges with the app crashing. This is getting me down. Why is this happening?

I'm afraid not.Gamertags can't be merged.

Saves are tied to the gamertag that created them & achievements are also tied to the gamertag that unlocked them & can't be moved to another profile.

Hi there,

when you play a game on the Xbox One console, it synchronizes the save game with Xbox Live. If a console is powered down while the save was not fully synchronized, you can't continue where you left off on a different console. You will have to power on the
console last played on for a while so it can finish synchronizing. After it is synchronized you can continue on a different console again.

I can't say how long it takes to synchronize, but usually not very long.

If you recently purchased a new gamertag on Xbox, but your old gamertag is still showing above the new one, it could be due to a few reasons:

Take in count that sometimes, it can take a little while for the changes to propagate across all systems and platforms. The update might not be immediate, and it could take some time for your new gamertag to fully replace the old one. Give it some time and check again later to see if the issue resolves itself.

1. The display of gamertags is often cached to improve performance. It's possible that your system or the Xbox servers still have the old gamertag cached, causing it to be displayed instead of the new one. Clearing the cache on your Xbox console might help. To do this, hold down the power button on the front of the console until it fully shuts down. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console, wait for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in and turn on the console.

2. There might be a synchronization issue between your Xbox console and the Xbox servers. Try signing out of your account on the console and then signing back in. This can help trigger a synchronization process that may update the displayed gamertag.
