    Can I share my GOLD when I already have a different console set as my HOME xbox?


    I now have 3 xbox one consoles in my house (1 for me, my son....and now my daughter). My son and I both have xbox live gold - but my daughter does not. I already have the xbox in my son's room set as the HOME xbox so him and I can play the same games.
    It has been great !

    But now with my daughter playing on hers......im fine with her not having access to OUR games (I already bought the 2nd copies for her to play online WITH us) but am I able to "SHARE GOLD" on HER xbox and not effect my son's xbox being the HOME one?

    Are they 2 separate things (HOME xbox and SHARE GOLD)? or can you only SHARE GOLD on a HOME xbox?

    Gameshare questions...

    If the gold is tied to your account, you would be sharing gold in either scenario. You can only share gold on one console at a time. You can set another console as your Home console so you can share your gold there, and you can use your gold on any console
    you sign into.

    Cannot add to my family account on new Xbox One S

    I HAVE set the console as my home console. It does not seem to make a difference.

    PS - it would be so all 3 of us can play an online game at the same time. OR am i stucking buying a THIRD xbox live account so all 3 of us can play (titanfall 2 for example) online together

    I was just thinking......with the TWO xbox live gold accounts we have.....can i sign in with my SON's account on my DAUGHTER's Xone.....and set that as HOME for HIS account and share gold? Then would all 3 of us be able to play on 3 different consoles (using
    2 xbox live gold accounts)

    You can only share gold on the Home console. So if your son sets the 3rd console as his Home, then yes she could use his gold there.

    You can only share gold on the Home console. So if your son sets the 3rd console as his Home, then yes she could use his gold there.

    They don't have to join your family in order to share your gold. You would need to set the console as your Home console in order to share the gold and then all they would have to do is sign into their accounts on the console. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/games/game-setup/my-home-xbox

    Can one share Game Pass Ultimate with family member across regions?

    I think on your Xbox you would need his account (that with Game Pass Ultimate) and that Xbox has to be configured as "home" console. Then all accounts on that console can share gold/ultimate.

    HOWEVER, if he has purchased his subscription in a different region you may run into issues. On the other hand I traveled with my Xbox to a different region and it worked fine and I logged into my Xbox account on an Xbox in a different region and it all worked fine for the content that was available for that region.

    I am not sure how this translate to playing on a PC. Because now there is no "home console" and I am not aware you can declare a "home PC" in that way to share subscriptions.

    Also, the Microsoft family settings are different from setting a console as "home" - ALL accounts on that console share the gold/ultimate regardless of being part of the family or not.
