I get free bandwidth between midnight and 5am. Does xbox one have a setting so that I can control updates and content download so that they only occur between these times? The files are sometimes so ig that they would take my entire month's internet allotment
to download one update or game

DISH Network satellite internet! Please Help!

Someone please tell me something. I currently have a wireless router from Verizon that is 3g that works at about 1mbs download speed, and I can play xbox live on it usually, sometimes there is just a lot of lag and I get kicked, but for the most part I can
play comfortably. But this package is $80 a month which outrageous for the 10gb data at these speeds. I have been looking into the DISH network high speed satellite internet, which is advertising up to 10mbs download speed max, and from research I've found
it at least runs at 6mbs download speed. Now I've heard all over the internet that xbox live online will be to laggy with satellite internet, because it takes extra time to send bandwidth back and forth between the satellite and blah blah blah. Then I see
that at least 3-5 mbs download speed is required for true competitive xbox live online play, and the more the better. And according to DISH, they are providing at least 6 mbs download speed. So will xbox live play work good then? Because it makes sense to
me, its fast enough too! Someone please give me a definitive answer. Thank you, please Help!!

Can you schedule a download?

I have Satellite internet service; as such there are download limits. However, there is a daily unlimited download window between 1am -7am. Is it possible to schedule Xbox Live downloads to start at a certain time?

Sorry but at the moment there is no such feature. However it is a good idea that should be looked into. You should head over to the Feedback Forums and post the idea there so it can be looked at.

Usually content gets added to the marketplace at 5AM EST. I'm waking up at 5am to check then. A 12am EST time release would be awesome though!

I was foolish to believe that it would be on the marketplace tonight. iVoltScopezV2 hit the nail on the head. The marketplace never updates before 5am. Then, taking into consideration that the game's file size will be between 9gb and 13.5gb, if I start my
download at 5am, I MIGHT be able to play it this afternoon. Before anyone says to upgrade internet providers, I do have fast internet. The fastest available in my area. over 50mbps D/L and 10mbps U/L. Certainly not the fastest out there, but plenty speed for
what I am trying to do.

Major Nelson actually said 12am PT but I follow what you are saying about the time difference Joe H Scott IV. I am equally frustrated. However, 12am Pacific = 2am Central, which passed 32 minutes ago. I am also in the Central time zone. I imagine we really
will have to wait until 5am, sadly. We were fooled again.
