    Can I 'risk' playing Destiny?


    I doubt it would stop the amount of pirated copies. However, it would stop players getting an advantage in more competitive games.

    Cheers Az, I just inserted the disc and allowed it to install this morning - Of course I tried it, pressed A at the title screen, then got the servers unavailable message.

    Only just got back in, I'm on it now, just chose my class (Hunter) now currently customizing my characters appearance! Can I 'risk' playing Destiny? :)

    Got my copy today as well.Servers will be switched on at 12pm Monday.

    Bungie say you'll be fine after then but they don't run xbox live so i'd wait until something official from microsoft is announced.

    Just remember that in the code of conduct it does say you can get banned for playing a game before the official release date so that's why i say wait for Microsoft to say something.

    Yeah cheers, I don't mind 'trying' on Monday, but I thought Saturday would be pushing it. If it was a generic non-AAA title, I'd happily play it today. But this is the earliest I've ever received a game and being an online-only game, as I learned in this
    thread, I can't play it even if I wanted to with the servers not up and running!
