    Can i revert back to a pre-SmartGlass/Xbox comanion era?


    Hi, my laptop has done an update for SmartGlass and Xbox Companion which I would like to reverse. Only use the laptop for 2 player gaming as I have a 360 controller with which my hands are comfortable with (long story). Since the update I can connect to
    the One but can't work out how to stream as with the old software.... Any helpers out there?

    Thanks for you reply LAW3, my reason for asking is that a 360 controller is much more comfortable for me to use and it was so much simpler to connect to my One using the old app. Now when I start 'Companion' it appears on my screen for a few seconds then
    disappear. I cannot uninstall, only reset the data? Any ideas?

    It's very unlikely,

    There's changes coming for the Xbox App, which will soon be called the "Xbox Console Companion"

    It's expected certain features (Social etc) will move to the GTRL+G "Game Bar" to work better for PC gamer's meaning old apps and their functions wont't continue to work as they once did.

    Xbox Accesories works pre-anniversary update....you can revert back no problem and it works. BUT HORIZON 3 DOESN'T WORK
