Can I remote play games from Xbox for PC on my steamdeck?

You can remotely control your PC with apps like TeamViewer, AnyDesk, etc. But those apps probably are not going to let you use properly the sticks and the dedicated gaming buttons that your Steam deck has.

In addition to that, it is important to note that those apps are available for Windows, so the only way to control your PC with your Steam deck will be installing Windows on it, but it would be pointless at that point.

Only gamepass ultimate works with steam deck

actually, the steam deck uses proton to run windows programs. you CAN install windows games on it without windows 10 and they run quite well. In fact, that's the selling point: many of the games that steamdeck runs are the windows versions. There are guides all over the internet for getting everything from EA play, to Gamepass, to GOG, etc running on the steamdeck to play the windows native games on the steamdeck.

I just tried the xcloud service directly from my series s and it worked absolutely flawless.

Now I am even more confused than before.

Why can I play cloud games directly from my Xbox in an astounding quality but it is not possible to remote play from Xbox to pc/ipad.

But what confuses me even more is that it works perfectly with ps remote play.

Just tested steam remote play from the PC to the iPad and that also worked wonderfully.

Maybe it's an general problem with the series s/x consoles?
