Can i refund a gift if it hasn't been redeemed yet?

I recently bought Minecraft as a gift, realizing too late that it's not the correct version that i wanted to buy. Can i refund it if it hasn't been redeemed yet?

Check to see if your purchase is listed under Purchases that may qualify for a refund.

Be sure to sign in from the account used to make the purchase.

As long as the other user didn't open and play the game you should be fine to request a refund using the links provided.

Gift cards typically can't be refunded, especially if it's already been redeemed. If it hasn't been redeemed, you'd have to contact wherever you bought it from to see if they can refund it.
