Can I redeem a euro gift card in US

I have a gift card that has euros, can I change my region to europe, buy the game i want, and then switch back to US region and still have the game i got?

Hi guys, Just have a question. I was in Europe so my account is configurated in Euro money. Now Im in America and Im pretty interessed by a Xbox Gift Card in the Microsoft Rewards system but I'm in the US so I'll get a Dollar gift card. So here is my
question, can I get a Dollars deposit in my Euro Account? And my account is not empty still have I think 0,90euro.

i have buy gift card of 10 euro and i have redeem it normaly but when i try to buy xbox live gold for 1 month the confirmation method stay desabled and i can't use my 10 euro to buy xbox live gold so can you fix this problem plz !

I'm assuming you are referring to Microsoft Rewards points. For Microsoft Rewards, 1,000 points equals 1$ in value (euros in your case), so yes if you have 60,000 points, then that values to 60 euros if you want to redeem those points for Microsoft Gift
Card currency. There is no option for 60$ (euros) on the redemption page for Microsoft Gift Card currency, so you would have to split it up redeeming a 10$ (euros) gift card and then redeem a 50$ gift card with the remaining points for a total of 60. More

Using gift cards for other regions for example euro when you're in pounds will be unusable in the UK store, the gift card can only be redeemed on the currency store. If you want a refund for the gift card I recommend contacting the seller where you bought
the code to see if they can offer anything in return.

Gift cards can only be used in the region they are made for. So the card might redeem, but it will still show as dollars, not Euros and you would only be able to make a purchase if you change the region of your account.

Make sure your account is in the same country as the currency you redeemed the currency gift card with.

For example, if you made an US account, and redeemed a Microsoft Xbox currency gift card in Euro, then your US Account on the Xbox 360 can't access the Euro currency.

Also be aware that you can only make purchases with your credit through an actual Xbox 360 console. If you try to buy via the Xbox website or on a Xbox One console, you can't use credit. For these you will have to use a payment method like Credit Card or
PayPal.
