Can I recover my parental account from the information of the child Account?

Hey Samantherrrrr94. I would suggest trying to download the parent profile again, however if you don't know the information, then you won't be able to redownload the profile. I would go to xbox.com/forgot and see if you can recover the email and password
associated with the parent account.

If you're unable to recover the parent account, I'd use the
support.xbox.com/contact-us page to set up a phone support call and see if they can assist you.

Aceman, I'd suggest the same thing. Try xbox.com/forgot to see if you can recover the parent account information. Log into the parent account and promote your child account.

You can try contacting the the Xbox Chat Support.

Just provide the Child account to them and they will verify it first, then they can be able to provide you the parent account on your child account, after that they can help you recover the account, so after you recover the account, you can finally remove
the account from your family.

I would recover your account to the other console. xbox live accounts are not transferable . . . even from child to parent. The only way to promote an account once it is created is T-I-M-E. When the account comes of age according to the age of the child
when it was created . . you can promote it.

Hey there Danis! First, for the security of your accounts, please do not post email address, Windows Live IDs, or other personal information on these or any forums. That said, do you know what the Gamertag of the Parent Account is? If this GT is on the console,
you can look up the WLID under the Account settings for that profile.

If you do not remember any of the information of the Parent Account, then unfortunately we would be unable to assist you in recovering it. In regards to the Child Account, once it reaches 18 years of age, you can simply promote the account from the console,

If you purchased the content on the parent account, then the DLC can only be accessed by the adult account. The only way the child account could access the DLC content is if both accounts are on the same Xbox and that the parent account has the Xbox set
as the Home console. This will allow digital content owned or purchased from the parent account to be shared with the child account or other accounts on the same Xbox. The parent account will also need to allow access to this content for the child account
due to the age rating of GTA 5.
