    Can I re-route audio outputs? Headset Adapter Issue.


    Finally got a friend with an Xbox one and a reason to crack out the Headset adapter.

    Using the TB X12 as I did with my 360.

    My main problem, the audio comes from the controller to headset...uhh is that normal??!

    because the quality sounds very crappy, kind of metallic.

    how do I change audio back to HDMI or force it, as I have that fed into my TV and then TV to audio mixer that sends audio to PC so I can listen on my X12 or Bluetooth headset ...

    Issue with Headset Adapter

    Is it possible to turn off the game audio that is being sent through the adapter and ONLY have chat audio be sent through it?

    I have a Turtle Beach PX51 headset which gets surround sound audio wirelessly, however, it also receives the game audio through the headset adapter making the game audio absolutely bonkers. It is way too loud and sometimes isn't in sync, so I get echoes.

    Headset adapter issue

    Just set up the new headset adapter with my turtlebeach x41, updated controler, set up all the audio as per turtle beach.com support pages, i can hear game sound but i cant hear friends in a party or game chat, they can hear me perfect, when i unplug the
    adapter i can hear them via the wirless turtlebeach control. I believe that there is an issue but dont know whether anyone else having this issue.

    Nothing on that page was similar to what I was asking, there is no "Send Audio through HDMI only" option... =(

    If you want to do that, every time you want to switch between headset and tv sound you will need to go to Settings > Sound Settings > Audio Output Settings > HDMI (for tv only) or Audio Input Connector / SCART / AV MULTI

    If you want to do that, every time you want to switch between headset and tv sound you will need to go to Settings > Sound Settings > Audio Output Settings > HDMI (for tv only) or Audio Input Connector / SCART / AV MULTI

    Xbox One Stereo Adapter

    You'd buy the adapter and plug it into the controller. The headset adapter for the controller provides both mic and audio output support.

    Using Official PS3 Wireless Headset with Xbox 360

    The only way you can get the headset to work with the 360 is to hook up audio out from the 360 to an adapter that can pair with the headset. You wouldn't be able to use the mic on the headset, unless there's an adapter that takes the 2.5mm output from the
    controller and pipes it to the same sort of adapter.



    There is no way to "pair" a Bluetooth headset to the 360 directly.
