Can I purchase a warranty from Microsoft if I pre ordered the Xbox Series X in-person at...

I was able to pre-order the Xbox Series X in person at GameStop. I paid in full already but I didn't opt to buy the warranty. Was wondering if Microsoft has a stock warranty and if I can buy an extended warranty from Microsoft as well.

I contacted Microsoft about this as well, they told me that i could purchase their extended warranty within 45 days of purchase. I did order my console from their store, but I am pretty sure that once you register the console with your Xbox account, and
then sign into the Xbox site, there should be an option to extend the warranty.

The Microsoft warranty is actually really affordable, and worth it in my opinion, and i never buy warranties.

One year. Microsoft offers an extended warrranty if you buy it from them, other restailers have thier own. Extended warranties are not included with All Access

I have already pre-ordered the Xbox Series X. Is there a way to pay for an extended warranty after the fact or would i have to wait to until launch or is it just not an option now?

I have the same question. I have pre-ordered the Series X on Xbox.com, but I was not offered an option for an extended warranty at the time of the pre-order and I cannot find any place on Xbox.com to add a warranty now.

MS has a regular stock warranty for your xbox. But it depends from region.

Please use this Microsoft Warrantyif you wanna know about your warranty.

I purchased the Microsoft Complete for Xbox with Accidental Damage Coverage when I pre-ordered the Series X from the MS Store.

My device listed, after activating it, shows an Xbox One, with the picture of a Series X, but the Microsoft Complete for Xbox with Accidental Damage Coverage is not shown under warranty information.

I tried contacting support, but it said this issue is not an issue that can be handled by a call or chat...

Please assist MS.

Not too sure why support chat would have sent you here. This forum is mostly community ran and made up of mostly just other gamers such as yourself. I would personally try contacting support again and if you have to ask for a supervisor. They should totally
be able to help with warranty related problems so im not sure why they said they couldnt.

I pre ordered my Series X through Best Buy and received it and registered it on my Microsoft account on Nov 11th.

Just this morning I went online to Microsoft Complete warranty website and started an online chat and purchased the extended warranty through Microsoft for $49 plus tax.

All they did was went online and saw my Series X was registered and added on the extended warranty for me.

It is really a good deal at $49 and covers 1 console replacement and 2 controller replacements for 3 years. Best Buy warranty is $69 for 2 years and only covers 1 console replacement and 1 controller replacement.
