Can I play with my friends in the US if I’m in portugal

For Xbox games, so long as you and your friend is on a country where Xbox Live is supported then you will be able to play online. Can you tell us what game it is you are trying to play?

I believe most of the games can be played unless there is a restriction on your account like if your "Multiplayer" is disabled via your accounts Privacy & online safety settings. Also, a thing that can prevent you from being able to play is the connection of your console. These are some of the things I can see that might prevent you both from playing.

That i have almost 200 person in my friend list and they all have the same issu there living paris, canada , us , portugal , still same issue

your analogies are putting me off reading your posts my friend lol,.....fact is, dude in Portugal owns copyright....XBLA game breached this copyright due to its title, as a result Portugal dude was able to legally put in a challenge that was found to be
valid...game doesnt get released in Europe.....reason, the lawyers somewhere dropped the ball....cant blame the man in Portugal for defending his copyright, can blame MS and Double fine for not doing their homework...so spare us all the additional blah blah
because it is that simple, and until they resolve it...no euro release for the game

I don’t have a console. I’m playing Minecraft pocket edition with my friends using the XBox live app. Can i do a multiplayer connection test some other way? Thanks for your help!
