Can i play with my brother when he is playing on his xbox and I on my own the same game...

When we only bought the game one time... Example: Rainbow Six Siege is going sometimes but Battlefield 4 want a disk or say you dont have the game pls buy it. That comes when my brother want to play with me and he didnt bought the games. I have no problems
to start the games.

Home xbox issue

so me and my little brother game share with each other by having his xbox as my home xbox and my xbox as his home xbox. he can play all the games i have and i can play all the games he has, up until recently that is. a few days ago i tried playing GTA V
which my brother owns and it says i cant because i dont have the rights. so i double check to see if my xbox is still his home xbox and it is. i went to check if he could play FOR HONOR and he can. so whats going on? something is odviously messed up and its
annoying. him changing his home xbox to mine is his 3rd time so i can't really mess with it.

Changing Birthdate on Xbox Live Account

My Brother set up my son's new Xbox live account on Xmas morning he put in the wrong DOB by a long shot this is stunting my son's ability to play on line with kids his own age which is one of the reasons he got the xbox is there anyway that I can fix his
current account i.e. this one so that he is properly aged as he is younger than 18 I would rather have this fixed without him losing all his xbox live and game downloads becasue of my moron of a brother. I am an xbox live member with my own xbox and I assumed
that my brother had put me on his system as the parent.

To do this you would need to own the games digitally, then whomever bought the game would need to make the other console the "Home Console". By doing this you'll be able to share your games with your brother. For more info on how to set a console as home,

I got the same problem. I only can play a game for like 15 minuets and it kicks me out and i cant connect. My brother has his own xbox one. Hes able to connect and have no issues with his network but when i sign into my account on his xbox it gives me
the same problem. Is something wrong with my account because its not our wifi or xbox.

I don't get it my brother and I both used the same xbox for a while he bought a game on his account with his debit card yet when he goes to play on his new xbox it wont work it seems he has to play on my account on his xbox for it to work but I didn't buy
it on my account I don't get can someone explain please?

my brother gets the exact same problem and he has a year worth of gold. because he is not old enough for his own privacy settings my dad did them for him under his account but they are the same as mine and i can play MUT.

The person who owns the digital copy of the game needs to be signed in on the Xbox which is not their "home" Xbox.

Me and my brother both have Xbox ones, he has the gold subscription this year so my console is his home console as well as mine, so when he signs in his console he is technically as a guest, but since the game would be on his account he has access. Since
my console his his home Xbox I also have access to his games and we can play together. The key is that whatever account owns the game other people can only play it if they are on that person's home Xbox. Hope this helps, good luck.
