Can I play the games that are game shared with me on my xbox, on my pc?

I recently got a pc and ive been wanting to pkay some of my xbox games on pc but not necessarily just stream from my xbox to my pc. When i click on these games that i play regularly on my xbox, it says i have to purchase the game again. Any help?

Can I play the games that are game shared with me on my xbox, on my pc?

No as ita only a console feature

Not all games are play anywhere titles

So yes only play anywhere titles work cross platform with pc

You will have to buy the games otherwise or if ita a gamepass title buy gamepass

Here is the current list of play anywhere

    https://www.xbox.com/en-CA/games/xbox-play-anywhere

If you are talking about games on someone's else's account no as it's a violation for you to use his account nor does gameshare extend to pc

    Xbox game pass

Hi. I'm getting a new laptop in a few days and it has one month of free Xbox game pass. My brother plays in an Xbox one. Is there any way i can share my Xbox game pass with him?
    hi, NOTwarrior007_

    I understand your question.
To share subscription between PC and console, you need Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

    • The Game Pass for console works only on the console.
    • Game Pass for PC works on PC only.
    • Game Pass Ultimate works on both

If you have Ultimate you can share with him

How to share Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with Family Members

Thanks for your speedy response! I am trying to share my Game Pass account on my home PC. So I have XBOX app on my Windows 11 PC. I would like my son to login to the app with his XBOX account.

So this means that I can share the games on the console with him but I can't share them on the PC with him?
