Can I play online multiplayer with friends on the same console?

I've been trying to figure out how to play Battlefront multiplayer with friends on the same console. We both have xbox live gold accounts and either one of us can go on multiplayer alone. I know that in Gears of War 3 you're able to go do online multiplayer
in splitscreen, so is the process different on the Xbox One?

Can't invite friend to play Blackops

We only play this game. I can talk to my friend but not able to play with him on the same team in multiplayer.

 

Gold Sharing, multiple consoles?

It doesn't really say that:

• At home. You can set up your console at home so that anyone who uses that console will enjoy multiplayer gaming and access to entertainment apps –
  even if you are not home or logged in.
  
• On the go. You can log in at a friend’s house and everyone there can enjoy multiplayer gaming and access to entertainment apps while you are logged in.
  

(Edit: Ok so at a friends house obviously one I have to be logged in)

At Home with Xbox One

Xbox One console.

At a Friend’s House with Xbox One



On Xbox One if you are an Xbox Live Gold member, you will be able to go to a friend’s house and play co-op multiplayer– even if your friend is not a Gold subscriber. Once you log in with your Xbox Live Gold account, everyone using that console
can access multiplayer and entertainment apps for as long as you are logged in.



So I am asking, what if I own 2 Xbox Ones? Can I play as online on 1 of them while my family plays online at the same time?



Also, If I have a digital game can we both play online in the same game?

 

As long as you have that person bring their account onto your Xbox or just have them sign in as a guest, the game does say it support multiplayer split screen up to four players.

But maybe someone with the game can help along a little more but it should work the same as GoW

 

I do not believe that GoW:UE has a split screen multiplayer feature. Most games on the Xbox One do not offer this now in order to optimize game play.
