Can I Play my PS5 on my HP Monitor

Just a friendly reminder though that in regards to your concern it would be best to reach out to PlayStation support but as additional help and in my experience, you can use an HP Monitor if it has an HDMI port where you can plug in the console.

I think I didn't add enough info to my main comment. My xbox one in fulling connected to my monitor. I'm just trying to set up my cable box to it. My xbox knows how to turn on and off my cable box, but the Xbox can not recognize my monitor through the whole
"Is it muted now" process. Since I'm using a HP monitor I selected HP TV and it didn't work. I'm trying to see what else I can do to try to connect my cable box to my monitor through my xbox one

I've tried hooking up my Xbox 360 Slim and my Xbox 1 console to my HP Pavilion dv6. It... hello... has an HDMI port, but the reason why my PC isn't picking it up is because others on here say something like it's the wrong kind of HDMI that are built on HP
Pavilion 15' PC's. I can play my Desktop and what I do on my PC on my HDTV, but can't use my PC as a monitor from my Xbox consoles.

I tried this with my HP 2159m monitor and a Spilnter Cell Conviction 360. No issues. The thin AV adapter is plugged into the AV port and a regular HDMI cable is connected to the HDMI port on the monitor. I can flip to VGA and back to HDMI without causing
any issues for the 360.
