Can I play installed disk game without inserting it again before play?

I have installed NFS in my consol and every time I want to play I need to insert the disk.

Is there a way to backup a copy/ install a full version, so that I do not have to insert disk every time? Thanks.

Buying Disc and Digital Of Same Game Question

I bought the disk version of bf4 and later on wanted the digital version so i can switch without inserting the disk, you don't have to re download the game if you installed it with the disk all you download is the digital license witch takes about 10 seconds.

Restarting game installs?? Killer instinct

I did similar with ryse and said I needed to insert disk again to complete the install, however after putting the disk in it just threw up the message again and wouldn't resume installing.

I highlighted the game in my games and pressed the 3 line button (center right of joypad), which produced a pop up menu and has the option to install again, resumed installation after selecting it.

No. The only way to play without the disc is to buy it digitally. Otherwise the disc has to be in the drive to make sure you actually own the game.

Hello, im gonna hijack this thread.. Im wondering why i cant play installed games? Ive installed Left for dead 2, GTA , and some other games but when im trying to run them without the disc it asks me to insert the disk b4 i play it, soo why install games
if i still need the disk??? help?

The only way to play games without a disk is to purchase them from the marketplace, keep in mind these will be full games and take lot of space and may take a long time downloading depending on your internet download speed. If you already have a disk you
can install the disk on your hardrive to minimize sound and increase loading speeds in games. You will however be asked to insert the game disk whenever you play the game.

I thought the whole idea behind the 500Gb hard drive is that you could load your games on the machine and not have to deal with the hassle of having to insert the disk to play the game.

From the posts above, it appears there was a policy change that requires the disk to be loaded into the machine to actually play the game. If this is the case then, I would assume I don't need to load the game into the hard drive to play it just, load it
into the disk player?
