    My Xbox Live Gold subscription will expire soon, but I want to buy Tom Clancy’s The Division - can you advise if I can play the game later without the Gold account?

    You'll need one if you want to play the game as it is intended. Without 1 u may not get all the updates and content, you will not be able to message, chat or use all the game features.

    The Division is an MMO type game. As such you would need to have a Gold membership to get the full enjoyment of the game.

    You don't need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to play by yourself, but for any of the online components you will need an Xbox Live Gold subscription.
