Can I play Decay: The Mare Early Before The Actual Release Date

If you preordered the game as a physical disc and it arrives early, you can play it. If it was preordered digtally, you would only be able to play earlier if there's an early access offer for that particular game.

I pre-ordered it digitally and they said wait until tomorrow.

I see the confusion here honestly. OP thought that the 6th was the actual release date and that Game Pass Ultimate got to play it 4 days early, so on the 2nd. That's not the case. The 6th is 4 days before the "actual" (and important to put actual in quotations,
I'm not a fan of staggered releases like this) release date of the 10th.
